Today, he still carries that same Seabee spirit into everything he builds and everyone he helps.

A Note From our Editor at Dawn Incorporated:

“When the team came up with the idea for this blog to honor Dawn Incorporated’s Veterans, my thought was to give our Vets the platform to tell the world about themselves and what I would imagine were some of the most influential years of their lives, serving in the U.S. military. However, I quickly realized that would not be the case. Getting them to talk about themselves was about as easy as pulling teeth. So, I’m going to tell you what I’ve noticed about these brave individuals who put their lives on the line for their country and with whom I am proud to be on a Team. They are humble. If you don’t read a single line after this, you’ve already gotten the greatest take away. They do not brag, crave the spotlight, or constantly seek the approval of others. They are funny. Originally, we wanted to use their military pictures, but we went with their military pictures as well as a more recent picture of each of them because as Fletcher comedically put it, “No one is going to recognize who those guys are!”

Every one of them has an amazing attitude and discipline. In their presence, I get the feeling that if I or someone else needed assistance, they would find a way to help. “Not my job,” not these guys. Leaving someone behind or in a hole to dig themselves out would never cross their minds. These guys are bringing their shovels…and hard hats, and we can never truly thank them enough for their service.”
